Freedom is not measured in degrees. It is an absolute. It is not possible to be a 'little bit' free any more than it is possible to be a 'little bit' pregnant. Once we allow even the smallest of our rights to be abridged in any way, we cease to be a free society and we may then only consider ourselves a 'little bit' subjugated.
